Welcome to Pingo. By downloading or using the App, these terms will automatically apply to you – you should make sure therefore that you read them carefully before using the App.

1. Purpose and Usage

Pingo lets you enter your contact details (phone number, Instagram, X, TikTok, and other profile information) once, and generates a dynamic QR code you can show to other people in person so they can quickly save or view your information.

• Digital Business Card Tool: The App is intended as a convenient way to share your own contact information during in-person meetings and networking.
• Not a Verification Service: The App does not verify the identity of any user or the accuracy of the information entered by any user, including yourself.

2. Accuracy of Your Information

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of the contact information you enter into the App and share via your QR code. Do not enter information that is false, belongs to someone else without their consent, or that you are not authorized to share.

3. User Content & Local Storage

You retain full ownership of the contact information you enter into the App.

• You grant the App a limited license to process and encode this information locally on your device solely to generate your QR code and display your profile.
• Since we do not upload your information to a server, you are responsible for backing up your data if you delete the App or change devices.

4. Sharing Your QR Code

When you display and share your QR code with another person, you are voluntarily disclosing the information encoded in it to that person. Once shared, the App has no control over how the recipient stores, uses, or further shares that information. You should only share your QR code with people you trust.

5. Prohibited Activities

• You must not use the App to impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
• You must not use the App to harass, spam, or deceive others.
• You are not allowed to attempt to extract the source code of the App.
• You must not use the App for any illegal purpose.

6. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, copyright, database rights, and other intellectual property rights of any nature in the App (excluding your personal contact information) together with the underlying software code are owned directly by us.

7. Third-Party Services

The App does not contain third-party advertisements. We use limited third-party services for technical stability only. By using Pingo, you also agree to be bound by:

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that QR code generation or scanning will function correctly in every environment or on every device. Factors such as lighting conditions, camera quality, and screen brightness can affect scanning performance.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the App, including but not limited to unauthorized use of information you chose to share with another person via your QR code.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update our Terms of Use from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.

11. Subscriptions & Auto-Renewal

• Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Cancellation: Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or turn off auto-renew in your App Store Account Settings at any time after purchase.
• Unused Portion: Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
